V collagen contains VERISOL® B, highly purified Bioactive Collagen Peptides (a Trademark of GELITA AG) from bovine skin. VERISOL® B is pure collagen protein with an extremely low mineral content and is free of fat, cholesterol, carbohydrates, and dietary fibers. The efficacy of VERISOL® was confirmed by several VERISOL®-specific, high-level published clinical studies ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5]). That’s why VERISOL® is consumed worldwide, by nearly 3.5 million people every day.

Verisol is proven to provide the following benefits:

Improves skin elasticity

A study with 69 women aged between 35 and 55 years revealed that VERISOL® leads to significantly higher skin elasticity compared to placebo treatment. This effect could be measured after just 4 weeks of treatment and persisted after 8 weeks of VERISOL® supplementation. Another 4 weeks after the last intake of the product, the VERISOL® group still showed higher skin elasticity levels compared to the placebo group.

Decreases cellulite

A randomized double-blind placebo-controlled study, involving 105 women (with 97 completing the program) between 24 and 50 years, showed that daily supplementation with 2.5 g VERISOL® significantly decreased cellulite scores after 3 months in women with a BMI of <25. VERISOL® had a beneficial effect on the skin extracellular matrix, helping to restore the normal structure of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. VERISOL® also reduced the waviness of the skin, with first results visible after 3 months, and more pronounced after 6 months. The study also investigated changes in the dermal density over 6 months. The two ultrasound scans show, side by side, the skin of a participant in the placebo group compared to the skin of a participant in the VERISOL® group. The increase in elastin and collagen is clearly visible.

Reduces wrinkles

A placebo-controlled study with more than 100 women aged between 45 and 65 years shows that the oral administration of VERISOL® (2.5 g/day) significantly reduces wrinkles starting after 4 weeks and leads to a significantly higher skin procollagen formation.

Improves nail quality and growth

A study with 25 women aged between 26 and 50 years showed a decrease of cracked and/or chipped nails, reaching a decrease of 42 % after 6 months. The speed of nail growth significantly increased by 10 % after 6 months of VERISOL® supplementation. Nail peeling was also notably improved, as well as nail edge irregularity was clearly reduced. The great majority of participants, 80 %, were completely satisfied with the performance of the VERISOL® regimen. In addition, 75% perceived their nails as stronger, and 71 % felt that their nails were growing faster and longer.

Improves hair thickness and structure

A randomized, placebo-controlled study investigated the effects of VERISOL® on hair thickness. The study was conducted in 44 women aged between 39 and 75 years, who supplemented with 2.5 g VERISOL® daily or placebo for 16 weeks. The use of VERISOL® led to a statistically significant increase in hair thickness, whereas a slight decrease was observed in the placebo group, confirming the benefits of VERISOL® for improved hair structure.
